What you need:
Old Calendar page
Pencil
Die
Buttons
Paper
Number of Players: 2 or more
How to play:
Write various math directions (example: +5, x3, -2) in ten squares
of the calendar.
Play from youngest to oldest.
Everyone starts with a score of zero.
Place everyone’s button on the first day of the month.
Roll the die and move that many days of the month. (example:
if you roll a five, move to the sixth day of the month.)
Now add the date you land on to your score. (example: if
you rolled a five, you’ll be on the sixth day of the month. So your score
would be, 5+6=11, your score is 11.)
If you land on a special square such as “-2”, use this number instead of the date. (example: 5-2=3, your score is 3.)
When you get to the end of the month, you’ll start over at the beginning.
Play until the first person to reach a score of 500.
A score of 500 wins!
